These terms govern your use of Coding Agent Survey at codingagentsurvey.org. By responding, subscribing, or otherwise using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
What the service is
Coding Agent Survey is a free, recurring monthly poll on which AI coding agents developers use day to day. Each month opens a fresh survey. Anyone can respond and pick as many agents as they use. When a month closes we publish an aggregate report.
Acceptable use
The value of the survey depends on honest, one-person-per-month participation. You agree not to submit automated or scripted responses, stuff the survey, or otherwise try to manipulate the outcome. You agree not to scrape the site in a way that degrades it, probe or attack the service, or interfere with anyone else's use of it. We may filter, discard, or refuse responses that appear to be automated or abusive, and we may block access that breaks these terms.
Results and content
Only aggregate results are ever published, the per-agent selection counts for each closed month. Those aggregate results, the charts, and the site content are provided for you to read and share. Your individual response is never published on its own.
Email notifications
You can optionally leave an email to be notified when a new report is published. That is the only thing we use it for. Every notification includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can ask us to remove your address at any time.
No warranty
The site is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the survey is statistically representative, that the site is always available, or that it is free of errors. The results reflect who chose to respond, nothing more.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Coding Agent Survey and the people behind it are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site.
Changes
We may update the survey, these terms, or the site at any time. When we change these terms we update the date at the top of this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
